Deputy Ed Frank Retirement

On Friday April 29, 2016 Deputy Edward Frank retired from the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office following 30 years of service. Deputy Frank was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and moved to the Bryan / College Station area in 1982. He began his career with the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Officer in January 1986. Ed attended the Basic Police Academy at TEEX and received his Peace Officer License in 1988. Since December 1988 he has served the citizens of this county as a Patrol Deputy, In March 1995, he took an assignment with the Brazos Valley Narcotics Task Force, September of 2004 returned as a Sergeant in the Work Crew division, January 2007 he worked in the Special Services Division as a Process Server and in October of 2008, Ed became the Crime Prevention Specialist. Deputy Frank has been married to his wife Rena for 20 years; together they have three children, Nate, Carley and Jeremy with wife Ali and a grandson Wilhelm. As Ed leaves the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office, he plans to spend more time with his family, but will continue to serve his community as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff.
